Going to college at a big school like Michigan has many advantages, including the tremendous breadth and depth of programs, services and support available. Working with current and former first-generation students at U-M, we’ve put together a guide of some of the most useful programs and services on campus. Where should you go for advice? Who should you talk to?

Please note that due to the COVID-19 national pandemic, most of the resources listed in the tabs to the left will still be virtually available. This includes but is not limited to the following:
